WAREHAM FREE LIBRARY SENIOR HOUSING EDUCATION

DATE: FEBRUARY 28, 2019

TIME: 1:30-2:30pm

PLACE: WAREHAM FREE LIBRARY – Meeting Room

Senior Housing Options

Helping Hands Community Partners, Inc. is the South Shore’s only local non-profit mortgage company.  Their mission is to strengthen communities by educating people about homeownership options, and when appropriate, can arrange mortgages.  Joe McParland will encourage a lively interactive conversation about “should I stay or should I go” in regards to aging in place.  Should you stay? What is the cost of moving? Can we downsize? Where do we go? What is co-habitation? Could it work for you? And, most importantly, some ways to reduce housing costs if you decide to stay in your home.   Joe will highlight his greatest concern for older homeowners of “freezing in place” as a result of not having all the information and ultimately making NO decision at all about housing—until it’s too late!

Reserve your spot by calling Joe McParland at 774-419-6670.
